Gas Condensate

Gas Condensate

Gas condensate (GC, white oil) is a multicomponent mixture of methane, naphthenic and aromatic liquid hydrocarbons. It is a by-product of the development of oil and gas fields. The condensate is a transparent liquid of yellow-brown or straw color, used for the production of diesel, jet, boiler fuel, as well as high-quality gasolines. Depending on the physicochemical and operational characteristics, a distinction is made between stable and unstable gas condensate. The first type of petroleum products is manufactured using separation / degassing technologies of feedstock or by rectification, which means separation at low temperatures. The delivery of stable condensates can be carried out via gas pipelines.

Varieties of distillates
  • heavy. In terms of their parameters, they are similar to Arctic diesel fuel;
  • average. Produced by rectification of stable condensate. The properties of this product are close to winter diesel fuel;
  • lungs. They have a lower flash point and solidification point than diesel fuel. They are usually used in technological and boiler plants.

  • There are other parameters by which GCs are classified. For example, in terms of sulfur content, this oil product is sulfurless, low-sulfur, sulfurous and high-sulfur. Gas condensate used in industry and in the domestic sphere must meet the requirements of GOST R 54389-2011. The properties of the raw material bring it closer to light refined products. Asphaltenes and resins are absent in the composition of HAs, but butane-methane fractions are present in large quantities. This results in low compressibility of condensate under pressure, which facilitates the extraction of natural gas from underground deposits.

    Gas condensate is in demand for solving a large number of production tasks. It is bought as a raw material for the manufacture of kerosene, gasoline, oils and additives to them, various aromatic hydrocarbons used in the chemical and petrochemical industries (benzene, toluene, xylene). HA is the basis of additives that are used in the production of high-octane fuel. It can also be used in its pure form as a solvent or as a replacement for diesel fuel / gasoline for refueling cars, tractors, special equipment, stationary installations in oil and gas production sites.

    The price of GK is approximately 1.5-2 times lower than that of gasoline and diesel fuel, and approximately 1.5 times higher than that of crude oil. At the same time, 1 ton of gas condensate replaces 1.5-2 tons of oil when receiving motor fuel, as well as 5-7 tons of oil during chemical processing. It should be taken into account that gasoline made from GK is characterized by low detonation resistance. In addition, raw materials can be used for the production of winter diesel fuel, subject to preliminary dewaxing, as well as obtaining all kinds of synthetic materials by synthesizing olefins.

    Specific properties of the HA approach it to light oil products obtained during the processing of oil. They contain no tar and asphaltenes, butane-methane fractions are contained in a large amount, due to which the product is characterized by high pressure, which is used to facilitate the pumping of natural gas from the earth’s interior. This oil is also added to gasoline as a high-octane additive in order to improve the basic characteristics. Properties of HA determine the quantitative ratio of individual components. Gas condensates are characterized by:

    • high coefficient of volumetric expansion (explosion hazard);
    • low compressibility;
      decrease in density with increasing temperature;
    • the formation of paraffin deposits with a decrease in temperature.
    Gas condensate from Business Allianz LLC company

    The group of companies Business Allianz LLC offers a wide range of high-quality petroleum products of domestic production. We supply the factory gas condensate, which meets the requirements of GOST R 54389-2011 according to the specifications.

    The distillate of gas condensate offered by our company has in its composition gasoline fractions up to 85% of the total volume, as well as a quantity of kerosene and other high-boiling components. The main technical characteristics of the composition:

    • Specific density – from 0,725 to 0,805 kg / dm3.
    • The saturated vapor pressure is up to 38.0 kPa at a standard of 66.7 kPa.
      The concentration of chloride salts is 1.9 mg / dm3 with an allowable 300 mg / dm3.
    • The mass fraction of hydrogen sulfide does not exceed 20 ppm (ppm).
    • The total content of ethyl- and methyl mercaptans is not more than 40 ppm (ppm).

    The Business Allianz LLC , which is being implemented, exceeds the parameters established by the current standard, in particular, it does not contain water and mechanical impurities. The quality, properties and characteristics of the distillate are regularly checked by independent laboratories. For each consignment, a passport is issued with the results of the control performed in accordance with the applicable standards.
